BTATS coordinates and promotes the interests of Alberta local trade unions whose 60,000 members work in the residential, commercial and industrial construction, maintenance, and fabrication industries.
PROJECT: Apprenticeship Training Opportunity
The Government of Alberta entered into an Agreement with the Building Trades of Alberta Training Society (BTATS) on March 7, 2018 and a subsequent amending agreement on January 10, 2020, with respect to a grant proposal to develop Apprenticeship Training Opportunity Initiative.
LegacyX Software Inc was engaged to develop the database, cloud domain, user interface and reporting capabilities to support the strategic and operational plan of the project. The project was developed in two phases, phase one involved the creation of a modular registry of apprentices and phase two developed innovative projects for apprentices.
