Worksite credential management across the trades industry is a mess. Workers carry paper safety tickets and certificates that are easy to lose, hard to verify, and impossible to manage at scale. Organizations need to confirm that every worker on site is trained, qualified, and certified – but the verification process is manual, slow, and unreliable. There was no secure, digital way for workers to manage their own credentials and share them with employers and site operators on demand.
What LegacyX Built
LegacyX designed, built, and operates TradesWallet – a SaaS platform for secure digital credential management. Workers set up their own TradesWallet from a mobile phone, upload and manage their safety tickets, certifications, and trade qualifications, and share verified credentials with employers and site operators instantly.
On the enterprise side, organizations use TradesWallet to manage their workforce credentials from a central dashboard – pre-qualifying workers by safety tickets, certifications, and skills before they arrive on site. QR code verification enables on-site credential checks without paperwork. TradesWallet has been integrated directly into union dispatch workflows, where credential verification is a requirement before a member can be dispatched to a job.
Why It Matters
TradesWallet is another example of LegacyX identifying a real operational problem and building a commercially viable SaaS product to solve it.
